Sequoia Symmetry
A single slab of Sequoia Redwood was cut and formed into a thick and symmetrical coffee table mated together with hand cut half-lap joinery. Small geometric inlays of other redwood grains fill voids where knots and defects existed in the slab. The soft nature of redwood is counteracted on the surface of the table using a special penetrating epoxy, and finished with a satin ceramic coating finish for ultimate durability. This table was sent to Lima, Peru.
